We love bikes and we ride them every day. Twice on days off!
We're all about riding bikes, talking about bikes and being around bikes.
Independently owned and operated by Jeff Beeston, our mutual passion for cycling creates a welcoming, experienced and friendly environment at the shop, offering a variety of premier brands of mountain, gravel, road, cruiser, electric, hybrid and kid’s bikes bikes, as well as full shop service to our incredible cycling community. We are proud to be a part of this community and support various community projects throughout the year- e.g. the John Howard KidStart Program, The Comox Valley Transition Society and the food bank, to name just a few.
When you come into the shop, you will most likely be greeted by one of our furry staff members. They are just as passionate about bikes and excellent customer service as their humans. The majority of our shop dogs work the odd shift here and there, upstairs and/or downstairs - not to forget all the other staff dogs who decided that play is more important than work. You might meet them on the trails instead.
LAILA - shop dog all her life, has seen it all. Favourite toy: fatbike tubes.
MAPLE - eager greeter, covering mostly Saturday shifts.
WATTLE - new kid, has big paws to fill - and a wiggle like a whip.
NILA - seasonal worker with an attitude; aka Doodz.
MARGEAUX - shop dog in training on a random roster, always happy.
Rolling further into 2024 we knew it was going to be busy. And in order to help as many bikes and people as we can physically squeeze into the shop (just imagine the old shop..), we brought a few more staff on for the busy summer season. If you haven't met them already, keep on scrolling for service writers, sales staff; and the mechanics (in no particulat order)- this would also be the spot to mention that we like coffee, chocolate, donuts, ice cream (more so in the summer) and other cold beverages.....
